Jonah Langly | Sixteen ; Delusional Disorder
Most people say that killers are born evil. In the case of Jonah Langly, however, he was birthed into this world as a perfectly normal little boy. If it hadn’t been for his parents strange and murderous ways, he probably would have led a normal life, with normal friends and no kills on his track record. But, as most children often do, he took after both of his parents. After all, monkey see, monkey do. His mother had been kidnapped when she was 10, by his current father. She was never returned to her real family, but instead, was forced to marry and create her own family with her captor. This was how it had been for dozens of generations in their family. It was a tradition, based off of the strange beliefs that had been passed down through the bloodline. When the first born male of the family turned ten, he was to find himself a wife. So, sitting with his mother and father in the family car, Jonah stared out into the parking lot to choose his wife. He chose a delightfully pretty young girl – with flowing blond hair, blue eyes and skin that reminded him of porcelain. It was settled.
After her mother and father were slain, she was grabbed from her bed and taken away to the Langly household. At first, Jonah was confused as to why the girl seemed to hate him. Every time he would try to talk to her or make her smile, she would start crying, asking to go home. Even after he gave her a pretty name – Isabelle – she still seemed to hate the sight of him. This all changed, though, when weeks of no progress made his father angry. He planned to kill Isabelle, claiming that she wasn’t a good choice for a wife. But Jonah wouldn’t let him. He saved Isabelle from his fathers wrath and in turn, she seemed to see him in a new light. As her savior Years passed and the young teens eventually married, at the age of twelve. And until his parent’s arrest, things seemed to be going smoothly. When the police found them, they thought that the two were siblings and no questions were asked to make them say otherwise. While waiting in back seat of the police car with Isabelle, Jonah whispered his plan to her. They would act crazy, to avoid being separated, and when they turned eighteen, they would be free to leave and continue on the tradition.
So now, the staff at Pilgrim believe that the two are siblings that suffered abuse from their parents. However, some questions were raised when people began to notice how close the two seemed. Whispers and rumors of incest traveled through the institute like wildfire, making the doctors concerned and somewhat on edge. After a few months, it was decided that the two would be separated as much as possible, to avoid aiding the seemingly disturbing relationship. But Jonah is a determined young man, now at the age of sixteen, and absolutely nothing can keep him from seeing his adoring wife.
